Lawrence Road has received planning permission for 69 homes and seven live-work studios to be built in Tottenham, North London.

The high-density urban regeneration scheme brings derelict land back into use as part of an integrated approach, collaborating with an adjoining land owner to rationalise land ownership and form a joint master plan. As a result, KC+A were able to use the site more efficiently, something which resulted in a 46% increase in accommodation.

Proposals also include a landscaped communal courtyard with play space for residents. Along the facade, articulated bays and textured brick work detailing provide depth, while a two-storey plinth of live work creative studios animate the street frontage.

'Well done KCA for leading the team to secure such a successful planning permission for the site. Many years ago I saw Lawrence Road's potential to become a great new residential neighbourhood and KCA's excellent design brings this an important step closer to reality.' Chris Christo of Christo & Co on behalf of Interfine Properties Ltd.
